Music is also pretty impressive and of course there is gujrat in every scene from food to dandiya to business and almost every scene. Goti tournament final scene and Car on trailer scene are superb. The debutants sushant and amit have performed the rules perfectly.Sheruhttp://hindisms.org/sms/sher-shayarinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3503508735843316282.post-55332983321880502482013-02-26T04:13:36.301-08:002013-02-26T04:13:36.301-08:00Thanks for giving your time on this review. It's miles better. I enjoyed 3i for what it was, a silly fun movie (a concept that I still have a hard time explaining to you ;)), but I made myself forget all about the book when watching, otherwise I would have hated it too. So we do agree after all. Somewhat. :P

Now this one is a whole different animal, and if you had asked me on Thursday I would have told you to go see it because you'd like it. Of course, I didn't know you were against cricket movies, that is a game changer. And anyway now that you've already made up your mind, I know better than to try and change it. ;) So I guess that's that. :)

XOXODolce and Namakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13403089235872528987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3503508735843316282.post-39605678004213097962013-02-25T07:49:01.905-08:002013-02-25T07:49:01.905-08:00Hey MM, welcome back! Let me know what you think if it when you see it.

In regards to the tweaking, from everything I heard about what happens in the book, it's all good tweaking. Especially the ending, which I read about and thought "Thank GOD they changed that!". :) I can't vouch for it myself, but even Chetan Bhagat is saying the movie is better than the book, so I think he'd know what he's talking about. ;)Dolce and Namakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13403089235872528987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3503508735843316282.post-58623367323761512822013-02-24T03:23:57.839-08:002013-02-24T03:23:57.839-08:00Awesome write up ,both witty and very interesting ...Awesome write up ,both witty and very interesting .Thank you :-) your site is bookmarked permanently now , also reaching out for a feedback of your's of a site which we have developed recently which enables you to see and follow the tweets of a movie and its called http://gocinemas.com for eg check out #kaipoche comment check out here http://gocinemas.com/movies/75 . But no. There was a twist in the last line. I liked it (3 Idiots)......
3 Idiots is just an exaggerated, over rated, commercial version of 5.Someone and more importantly a boring movie.
I didn't know this movie was based on 3 Mistakes. 3 Mistakes was the last Chetan Bhagat book I read. His quality of writing has been constantly degrading after 5.Someone. 3 Mistakes was a totally put downable book. In fact I skimmed thro the pages just to know what the hell the ending was and shut the book down. And, frankly I can't even imagine me seeing another Indian movie based on sports esp Cricket. Considering the fact that our tastes hardly sync (Viswaroopam was an exception) I bet I'm gonna hate this movie. So I won't bother spending my time and money on this.Mukundh Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07943099198983433746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3503508735843316282.post-78643749494523403862013-02-22T04:53:34.544-08:002013-02-22T04:53:34.544-08:00Hey, great to see you back blogging again. I only ...Hey, great to see you back blogging again. I only recently checked back and saw your last two posts. I read most of your review, but not all of it, for fear of spoilers. I'm glad it worked so well for you. That seems to be a more or less universal response.

Also, thank you for saying that 3 Idiots completely missed the point of Five Point Someone. That was my biggest disappointment with it, among a whole host of disappointments. Too bad you haven't read 3 Mistakes of my Life, since I was concerned what kind of "tweaking" (Taran Adarsh's word) of the book was done here. But it seems to work as a film on its own (something I couldn't say for 3 Idiots), so that's encouraging.mmnoreply@blogger.com
